Rasikapriya Arts Festival

Rasikapriya Arts Festival was a two day family cultural extravaganza held at the premises of KC High, OMR, Navalur. This is in sync with the school's vision to support developing social consciousness in our neighbourhood.

We had two scintillating evenings on February 15th & 16th with world class performances by THE THAYIR SADAM PROJECT and DHANANJAYAN'S BHARATA KALANJALI.

The KC High students also entertained the crowds with their performances on both days.

We organised some interesting and engaging workshops on Day 2 of the festival. Weaving by the famous Cholamandal artist Prasida Chavan to Clay modelling by sculptor V.Ravindran, Collage painting by veteran artist V.V.Ramani to Photography by C.P.Satyajiit and Drums by the hugely popular "Drums Murali".

The local community came out in full support by serving up some delicious food at the festival.

The festival not only brought out the unique talents of the children but also gave them a fun environment to learn new skills. The Rasikapriya Arts Festival gave the entire family a fun filled cultural weekend.
